The New Executive Interior for the Bentley Mulsanne has just been confirmed, I was more than happy with the standard interior but this just makes it a little more bearable on a long journey.
The new additions of the state of the art systems, iPad spec and Theatre spec add all the connectivity you will ever need. All absolutely a must while on the move and sumptuously integrated into the marvellous cabin. The interior takes the Bentley Mulsanne craftspeople 170 hours to fashion, breathe it in.
[portfolio_slideshow]With the Bentley Mulsanne THEATRE spec, fortunate rear passengers can enjoy superabundant amounts of champagne, whilst enjoying the DVDs, TV or music on demand. The car features a 15.6in LED screen, just in case you want to watch something else headrests include 8in screens with the added convenience of Bluetooth headphones. I haven’t confirmed if these are noise cancelling models.
Business Users and top journalists can take advantage of the boot mounted Mac Computer , the LED Screen can be used as the display. Centre consoles include the twin USB ports, for data, music or movie uploading.
Controls for this excellence are via a Bentley Custom app controlled by an iPod Touch, bespoke reading lights have been added to provide optimum illumination for viewing conventional documents.

When you were ready to unwind, do it in style. The Mulsanne includes Bentley‑designed a luxury bottle cooler with space for not one but two full-size Champagne bottles in a canted position, plenty for the journey to Ladies Day.
Bottles can returned to the cooler with just one touch of a button, the frosted glass door quietly slides open to reveal three David Redman hand‑blown and hand-cut lead crystal champagne flutes, exclusive to Bentley. They are presented beautifully by the white LED accent lighting. The flute design echoes the racing spoke design of the Mulsanne’s 21” 5-spoke Sports alloy wheel.
With the Bentley Mulsanne iPad Spec different functionality and connectivity is deployed. Two beautifully crafted, veneered tables provide a soft hide writing surface, colour-coordinated to interior of the Mulsanne and with a mere press of a button twin iPads with wireless keyboards are released.
In case this isn’t enough and for afters Bentley Bespoke Both the Theatre and iPad Spec can be specified with a range of bespoke finishing touches. To include a Tibaldi fountain pen from its specially commissioned Collection, hand veneered to match the car and stowed in a dedicated dock in the centre armrest, so you won’t use it.
On the Bentley for the first time in the interior, a distinctive and rather marvellous Yacht-style veneer of either Dark Wenge with a Maple Pinstripe or Maple using the Dark Wenge as the pinstripe motif. Available in a Satin or Gloss Lacquer finish.
Wheels for this rather special technical Bentley Mulsanne can be specified with unique 21” multi-spoke wheels, each hewn from a solid, forged aluminium billet by computer-controlled lathes and milling machines. Each billet initially weighs an enormous 85 kg, and is fashioned in around three hours into a light-weight wheel weighing 13.4 kg. Rather like cornish pebbles, the sculptures are then individually immersed in small ceramic pebbles and agitated for many hours to produce the mirror-polish finish.
