The golfing legend one of the worlds most famous golfers visited Maranello home of Ferrari for the first time earlier in the year to order his Special Ferrari FF. His famous mantra ‘Look Good, feel Good, Play Great’ is enhanced with his new car. At his visit to Maranello Poulter was totally impressed with the attention to detail shown in everything at the Factory.

The 2 owner 1960 California 250 LWB Spider Competizione excited visitors looking for Ferrari at Pebble Beach Auction and went to an anonymous collector for over 11 million Dollars inc fees. The California Spyder was an extremely rare model and only nine versions were built for competition. The car comes from the Sherman M. Wolf collection, who had bought it from its first owner in 1979 and owned it until last weekend.

At the same auction other wonderful Ferraris from the same collection came under the hammer: such as the 1985 288 GTO, sold for 1 million Dollars, and a 340 MM Spider, sold for almost 4.5 million Dollars.
