The cleanest and most powerful SUV in its class. The XC90 T8 Twin Engine from Volvo has it covered.

The XC90 T8 Twin Engine 7-seat luxury SUV uses a combination of engine and electric power. It has raised the bar when it comes to emissions, just 49 g/km CO2. Class leading, there is no equal SUV that can deliver 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds with a pure electric range of 26 miles.

The T8 twin engine has 407hp* and torque of 640Nm. If your driving requirements are right for this vehicle you can possibly achieve 134.5 mpg.

The T8 Twin engine has five driving modes – Hybrid, Pure Electric, Power Mode, AWD and Save. The settings combine the use of the power trains for maximum economy. All modes are easily selected from a scroll wheel on the centre console.

The XC90 T8 Twin Engine will be available later this spring in Volvo showrooms.

*All figures are based on the NEDC driving cycle for hybrids.
