An All-New Compact SUV from Mazda that may take the sector by storm.
The exciting All-New Mazda CX-3 Compact SUV is making its European debut today at the Geneva Motor Show. Surely looking like one of the best arriving in the fastest growing automotive segment.
The 18-strong model line-up will be priced from £17,595 to £24,695 on-the-road. Featuring the latest of Mazda’s SkyACTIV tech and KODO: Soul of Motion design language to a new SUV.
The car will be available with a choice of 11 petrol and 7 diesel engines. On the inside there will be a choice of five trim levels. Transmissions offered are the SKYACTIV-MT manual and SKYACTIV-Drive automatic. There will be both front-wheel drive and Mazda’s new-generation all-wheel drive system.
Cars will feature cutting edge connectivity with MZD-Connect and a 7-inch colour touchscreen and Multimedia commander. The Sport Nav models add Active Driving Display – a segment first head-up display system.
Offered with either 120ps or 150ps, the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-litre petrol engine is predicted to account for around 50 per cent of UK sales. Available in all trims, with both SKYACTIV-MT manual and SKYACTIV-Drive automatic transmissions, the 120ps engine with front-wheel drive makes up the bulk of the line-up. However, at the top of the petrol range, the 150ps engine is matched exclusively to all-wheel drive (AWD), and a six-speed manual gearbox in Sport Nav trim.
Already having made its debut in the all-new Mazda2, the SKYACTIV-D 1.5-litre diesel engine will be available in the CX-3. Petrol versions and front-wheel drive models will make up the majority of the range, although the 105ps SKYACTIV-D Sport Nav AWD is offered with both manual and automatic transmissions. Emissions of just 105g/km for the front-wheel drive SKYACTIV-D and an official combined economy of 70.6mpg, across the range Mazda’s SKYACTIV technology will ensure great performance and efficiency.
The All-new Mazda CX-3 is on sale in the UK from the 19th June 2015.
