Aston Martin is set to renew an association with the London Design Festival as the week long design showcase comes to the UK capital. Now in its ninth year, the 2011 Festival will be the largest and most significant yet, with an expected 180 partners and more than 250 events celebrating the world’s creative capital which commences this week.

Aston Martin is supporting the London Design Festival VIP Programme with an exclusive fleet of chauffeured four-door Rapide sports cars and Tailor-Fit Cygnet city cars. Guests will be driven, cosseted in trademark Aston Martin luxury to a specially curated series of Festival highlight events each providing an insight into the world of design in London in 2011.

Aston Martin will also create a distinctive display of their latest model range, including the recently launched Virage and V8 Vantage S at the entrance to Multiplex at The Dock for this year’s London Design Festival. Multiplex at The Dock is hosted by famed international designer, Tom Dixon at the Portobello Dock and is rapidly turning into an epicentre for design innovation. During the Festival visitors can expect indoor, outdoor, food and water-based installations, exhibitions and on-the-spot workshops and demonstrations.

Aston Martin remains at the forefront of contemporary sports car design. Each and every Aston Martin brings to life the culmination of a world-class trend-setting design ethos, cutting edge technology and hand-finished craft skills.
