The organisers of Europe’s biggest Land Rover and 4×4 event are bringing Land Rover back to the South West.

A great day out for all the family. The all-new and exciting Bristol and West Land Rover Show will open its gates for the first time on Saturday 23/24 June 2012 at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet.

The show ground offers fantastic facilities, using the Xtreme Off Road course, Land Rover and four wheel drive enthusiasts can get together to celebrate their favourite marque with a weekend of high octane driving and family fun.

Drive or be driven around one of the most challenging off-road courses in the UK. Enjoy the action packed terrain that will put you and your Land Rover to the test.  Xtreme Offroad’s course has it all and is guaranteed to keep you on your toes from start to finish, which takes about 40 minutes dependent on the conditions.

The course is designed to cater for different driving abilities and vehicle specification. Off road course is £10 per session or £30 for four sessions if booked at the same time.

The Live Action Arena will be bursting with entertainment throughout the weekend including Land Rover parades, interactive games, and winching demonstrations from Goodwinch. Test your skills in the see-saw club trophy, see the first double twist off challenge and much more to keep the whole family entertained.

Featuring displays from clubs around the UK and Europe, the Bristol and West Land Rover Show is the place to cast your eye over some of the finest examples or this iconic British marque, including rare and prototype models, as well as ex-military vehicles.

All the big names in the trade will come together to form the Retail Village and Autojumble, so whether you’re searching for that elusive part, some extra tools to complete a restoration project or a new accessory for your favourite 4 x 4, you’re sure to find everything you need.

If you can’t bear to tear yourself away from the action then book yourself a pitch for the weekend and bring along your tent or caravan. From as little as £35 you and your family can enjoy the evening entertainment provided as well as family fun with giant inflatables, sports activities and games.

Bristol and West Rover Show is open from 9am until 4.30pm on Saturday 23/2 June 2012. Adult ticket prices start from £8 when purchased in advance with children under 15s allowed in free with paying adults.
