The MINI GoPro App

MINI have released an app to control a goPro camera from the dash of their new models. The App will be free to download from the App Store in June.

Shooting a video of your trip is now as easy as using any of the other friendly apps on the new MINI. The renowned GoPro cameras are rugged small cameras ideal for mounting in or limpet like on the outside of the car with the supplied suction mounts.

Using the GoPro MINI connected app the camera functions can be operated via the dashboard high resolution display. Users can choose between taking video, snapshots or a photo series mode.

The MINI Connected suite of apps is continually expanding and now include – Glympse, AUPEO!, Stitcher, Deezer, Audible, Napster, TuneIn, Amazon Cloud Player. Built in Apps are web radio and RSS feeds and not forgetting the necessary Facebook and Twitter and hopefully coming soon Pinterest?
