Fiat 500L How Cool is That…

In Fiat by Jonathan Humphrey

One to look out for – A Great new model for the Fiat 500 Range has been announced by Fiat. The Fiat 500L. the L stands for Large. The car is being shown for its World Premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, 6th March 2012.

Highly reminiscent of the early Fiat Giardiniera models from years ago. A car I always keen to use in a pizza delivery chain I dreamt of creating years ago. Possibly the new surf wagon. Following on from the Abarth and Cabrio models, this really is great fun and brilliant addition to the range.

With this latest model the Fiat 500L once again Fiat shows its creativity. A lovely small ‘first car’ for those fans of efficiency, Italian style, versatility and functional design. The 5-seater car  is just 414 cm long, 178 cm wide and 166 cm high. Continuing the concept of the‘cab forward’ another my favourites,the 600 Multipla, the original Fiat people carrier.

The car will be introduced to market at the end of 2012 and be available with two petrol engines the TwinAir and 1.4-litre and a turbodiesel engine 1.3 MultiJet II. The New 500L is to be built at the Fiat factory in Kragujevac, Serbia.
