A future one to look out for, the Morgan Plus 4 70th Anniversary, last week, the first four cars rolled off the production line.


The handcrafted sports car factory in Pickersleigh Road, Malvern has now just closed for one month to help combat the spread of Covid-19.

First coming to the market in 1950 the Plus 4 has been one of Morgan’s best selling models and has many fans worldwide. Significantly the chassis will be painted gold as a highlight in Morgan’s 111-year history.

This special edition commemorates the end of production for the steel chassis used on Morgan cars since its inception in 1950.

Cars will feature individually numbered plaques and embroidered headrests., all cars will be dressed with Platinum metallic paint and satin dark grey wire wheels and an abundance of interior and exterior upgrades.

The interior of this unique edition has the finest leather, heated seats and a Ravenwood veneer dash, dark grey box weave carpets and satin black Mota-Lita steering wheel amongst other fancy additions.

To complete the dynamic look and soundtrack, the 70th anniversary edition has been enhanced by Aero Racing, engine mapping raising the power output from 154bhp – 180bhp, delivering a 0-62mph time of under seven seconds. All topped off with a unique sports exhaust and ceramic black tailpipe.

An exclusive photographic build Record is also included with the car. Priced at £60,995 just twenty of the limited edition models have been built with customer deposits taken for all of them. One to look out for sometime, in the sunny days ahead.
