Hyundai Motor uses ‘New Thinking’ to send a special message to space.
Using the brands ‘New Thinking’ approach Hyundai takes on the challenge to connect the 13 year old daughter of an astronaut, often away for months at a time on the International Space Station, with a hand written message from her to astro-dad.
The Delamar Dry Lake in Nevada was the chosen place for the record breaking attempt to take place. Eleven Hyundai Genesis cars were used to create the epic message, one and a half times the size of central park.
Measuring 5.55 km2, the message has now been officially recognised by the Guinness World Records as ‘the largest tyre track image’ ever created.
Experts from Korea, Europe, and the United States gathered together to make the ambitious project a success. The team had to identify optimal locations around the world. After several expeditions and the analysis of global weather data, Delamar Dry Lake in Nevada was selected as the optimum location.
Perfect synchronisation of the cars was required to perform the tyre track writing. The Hyundai Genesis was the ideal automobile for the challenge.
