Peugeot UK has released welcome new pricing on its Peugeot iOn one of our favourites. Now with an on-the-road price to £21,216 (after the Government’s £5,000 Plug-in Car Grant).
This new pricing equates to a monthly rental of around £249 per month over a 3-years. The Peugeot iOn cars are now well supported throughout the UK with 23 dedicated EV Specialist Peugeot dealerships.
Peugeot’s EV range is being extended in early 2013 with the introduction of a new electric Partner van. The Partner Van will qualify for the Government’s EV grant, with a maximum of £8,000 support towards the purchase price .
The EV range, along with the recently introduced world’s first diesel-electric HYbrid4, Peugeot’s are committed to the environmental challenges facing carmakers, communities, businesses and private car owners.
Phil Robson, Peugeot’s Fleet and Used Car Director, remarked: “2011 marked a return of EVs for Peugeot in the UK. We want to continue to develop our EV strategy as the technology becomes more accepted by consumers and the charging infrastructure continues to develop. Peugeot has been at the forefront of the EV market with the Peugeot iOn and this latest development is a key part in our low CO2 strategy.”
