The VW up! has already been named Car of the Year for 2012 in the Whar Car? awards and TopGear awarded it Small Car of the Year. The car is also the first car in its class to have received a five star rating and the Advanced Award from NCAP, the European New Car Assessment Programme
[portfolio_slideshow]The VW up! three door is available to order now with a RRP on the road price of £7995, models will be arriving in showrooms in March and worth a look. The five door deliveries will be starting shortly after that. Moving up to 5 door, rear seat passengers benefit from exactly the same space as in the rear of the 3 door. The new rear seat is set different level to enable all passengers a clear view of the road.
[one_half]The car comes with the same comprehensive options as the VW up! three door – including ABS hydraulic brake assist, front and side airbags, isofix child seat fixing, ESP ( not on base model), an optional City Emergency Braking system which uses sensors to scan the available space ahead, applying the brakes if an obstacle is detected.Pricing for the 5 door has not been announced yet, it is likely to cost about £400 more than the equivalent 3door VW up!.[/one_half]
