The Future is called ‘Mirai’

In Short Cuts, Toyota by Jonathan Humphrey

Akio Toyoda president and CEO of Toyota presents the future.

An exciting new car called “Mirai”, a new fuel cell vehicle,  Mirai, means future in Japanese. The company’s president announced the car in a video released the day before the car’s official launch.

This car is to represent a turning point for the automotive industry, a car that is safer, greener and easier for everyone. A vehicle with the cruising range of a conventional saloon, can be refuelled in less than five minutes and emits only water vapour. In Akio Toyoda’s words: “This is a car that lets you have it all with no compromises.”
