Unveiled the Fiesta ST200 even hotter hatch

In Ford, Short Cuts by Jonathan Humphrey

Just when you thought the Fiesta ST couldn’t get any hotter, the team at Ford Performance announces the ST200.

Already one of the best small hot hatches for driving fun, this uprated version delivers 10 percent more power and 20 percent more torque.

“…a new level of power and performance, I think it’s a future classic in the making.”said Joe Bakaj, vice president, Product Development, Ford of Europe
The 200PS engine enables the hot hatch to accelerate 0-62mph in just 6.7 secs to a top speed of 143mph. In-gear performance is even better, making the Fiesta ST200 an, even more, fun and dynamic car to drive.

Fiestas ST200 will be available in a new exclusive colour, Storm Grey with machined black alloy wheels and an enhanced interior with Charcoal Recaro front seats and ST200 detailing.

The first Fiesta ST launched in 2013, delivering 182PS and 240Nm of torque from a 1.6‑litre EcoBoost engine and 0-62 mph acceleration in 6.9 seconds. The Fiesta ST quickly made its mark as Europe’s leading hot hatch. Already the car has won more than 20 awards around the world. Ford has since sold 30,000 Fiesta STs in Europe, of which over 19,200 were in Britain.

Production of the Fiesta ST200 commences in June with first customer deliveries in the summer.

“Whether it’s the new Fiesta ST200, or our game-changing all-new Focus RS, or the groundbreaking Ford GT supercar, our Ford Performance offering has never been so strong, Ford’s EcoBoost engine technology has enabled a Ford Performance model to suit every budget and lifestyle.”said Raj Nair, Ford executive vice president and chief technical officer, Global Product Development.
