Vignale = More Luxury from Ford

In Ford, Short Cuts by Jonathan Humphrey

Four more Vignale models made their debut at the Geneva Motor Show – Ford S-Max Vignale, Ford Edge Vignale, Ford Mondeo 5-Door Vignale, all presented alongside the Ford Kuga Vignale Concept upscale SUV.

Seeing that the already well equipped Titanium specification Ford cars made up 70 percent of sales, it was evident that customers wanted more than the top of the line models already on offer. Vignale now represents the absolute best of what Ford can now offer in terms of luxury and personal service.

The cars will be available to order only at the dedicated Vignale lounges in the latest Ford Stores around the UK. The aim is for a more tailored experience to buying a car. This more personalised service then continues with ongoing support from a dedicated Vignale relationship manager.

Part of the Vignale relationship experience will be the new travel, event and lifestyle service that will offer customers valuable offers to travel and lifestyle activities. These will include hospitality experiences at the Chelsea Flower Show in London, the F1 Monaco Grand Prix, and access to VIP premieres at the Cannes Film Festival.

Our customers have high aspirations, and they want more from Ford. On some vehicles, our top-of-the-line Titanium specifications make up 70 per cent of all sales. With Ford Vignale, we can offer them the absolute best of Ford in terms of luxury and personal service. That’s why we are expanding from Ford Mondeo Vignale to our flagship products Edge and S-MAX, with Kuga to come soon after.” commented Jim Farley, Chairman and CEO of Ford of Europe.

Ford Vignale are appointing brand ambassadors for these luxury cars – trailblazers from the worlds of fashion, design, arts and technology who will feature in the Ford Vignale rollout –

Joe Casely-Hayford OBE and Charlie Casely-Hayford – the British father and son team behind the Casely-Hayford fashion label, and designers to the stars
Kai Petermann – a German designer, digital influencer and founder of online blog stilsucht.de

Along with the cars comes the 2016 Signature Collection, a portfolio of designs created by Ford Vignale designers and inspired by the distinctive craftsmanship and upscale materials found in the Vignale models. The Collection includes a handmade leather iPad sleeve and office bag that reflect the distinctive Ford Vignale grille and quilted pattern of the handcrafted seats. A power bank trimmed in high quality leather; a Vignale leather writing set with an exclusively designed LAMY Vignale fountain pen and ball pen; a leather sleeve for travel documents; and a wallet and leather sunglasses holder. In addition, the Vignale Collection for the first time offers a new range of soft leather-trimmed notebooks.

Prices for Ford S-Max Vignale and Ford Edge Vignale will be announced later in the year. The five-door Mondeo Vignale will follow in 2017 followed by the Ford Kuga Vignale. Read more about Ford Vignale here
