Great News EcoVelocity is back with a Grander Design

Great News EcoVelocity the ground breaking eco car show is back again this year.  Secondly it is now to be held at the ExCel with more and more space for test drives to assess the low carbon vehicles available. Thirdly it has now joined forces with the organisers of Grand Designs Live and the shows will run side by side in May. 

Last Years EcoVelocity show was a worthwhile day, I went along and had great time driving all the cars available. I have since driven a Mitsubishi i-MIEV electric car for a week with my family, Watch the Trailer. Entered the RAC Future Car Challenge thanks to Peugeot in a Peugeot iON and been in the RAC Electric Car Grand Prix at Silverstone. I am becoming a true plughead these days.

Visitors to the Ecocelocity show will be able to see and test drive the latest crop of eco vehicles which will include electric, plug-in hybrids, hybrids and other CO2-busting vehicles.  Once visitors have driven the cars on their shortlist they can visit Grand Designs Live to see what’s new and sustainable for their home.

EcoVelocity will be a stand-alone event alongside Grand Designs Live and will continue with its own enhanced marketing campaign, which, with a considerably more accessible venue, will attract a much higher audience than in 2011.

Kevin McCloud a keen electric car enthusiast entered the 2012 RAC Future Car Challenge last year, which I also entered with Peugeot.
