Škoda Enyaq L&K, Luxury Model on the way

In Electric, Electric cars, Luxury Cars, Short Cuts, Skoda by Jonathan Humphrey

A new L&K model has been added to the award-winning Enyaq range by Škoda. The new model is the first L&K to be driven entirely by an electric powertrain. It is part of a comprehensive model-year upgrade that also brings faster charging, greater driving range, and improved performance.

New L&K models, named after the brand’s founders Václav Laurin and Klement, will be offered in SUV and Coupé body styles. These models will be distinguished from the rest of the line by their bespoke external styling, comprehensive digital capabilities, and premium interior.

The Enyaq L&K has a WLTP combined driving range of up to 345 miles (SUV 342 miles), a 77 kWh (net) battery, and a 286 PS motor on the rear axle. The SUV variant is priced at £51,340 OTR, while the coupé variant is £53,240 OTR. When linked to an appropriate DC quick charger, the new model can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 28 minutes, and it can accept DC rapid charges at speeds of up to 135 kW. Fast acceleration (6.7 seconds to 62 mph) and top speed (111 mph) are possible.

Unique bumpers, a rear diffuser, and external mirrors in Platinum Grey are design elements for Enyaq L&K. Chrome accents the window frames and roof rails. The side skirts are painted in the body colour. The L&K versions have Škoda’s distinctive Crystal Face grille, which creates a striking nighttime light signature when lit up by 131 LEDs. Along with complete LED backlights, the standard equipment includes full LED matrix headlights designed to not blind oncoming vehicles. The standard wheels on both the L&K and base variants of the Enyaq are 20 inches of distinctive Asterion anthracite metallic alloy, but a larger set of wheels, 21 inches in diameter, are available as an option. Privacy glass for the back side windows and L&K badging for the front wings round out the exterior design package.

On the inside two bespoke choices are available to clients: L&K Shell and L&K Black. Both vehicles are available with standard leather upholstery, but one comes in beige and the other comes in black. Both include the L&K-exclusive front seats that provide ventilation and massage functions.

The infotainment system allows users to manage the seats and set the temperature, ventilation, or a mix of the two. On the same screen, you can also modify the position and engage the massage function. Standard features on L&K models include heated front seats, a head-up display, a CANTON sound system, a heated windscreen and L&K emblems on the back seats.

January 10, 2024, orders will be accepted for the new Enyaq L&K. The first deliveries are expected later in 2024.
